Dear Supporter,
This April 15, 2007 the 2nd Annual Alapocas Run 8K run/relay and 5K walk will be held to benefit the American Heart Association. The run will start at Wilmington Friends School in the Alapocas neighborhood before winding through the woods of Alapocas Run Park. Last year there were over 100 participants and this year we are aiming for 150.
This run is being organized by the Delaware Athletic Trainers Association as part of National Athletic Training Month.
We are writing to ask for your support of the Alapocas Run. Please consider one of the following ways to support the event.
- Participating in the run/ walk or sponsoring a relay team
- Advertising as a sponsor
- Donating prizes for individual place winners or relay winners
- Supporting the race in another way: _________________
We appreciate your help in making this event a reality and raise awareness for a great cause. Advertising sponsors will have their logo or name listed on participant t-shirts and will be represented on the race banner. More race information is available at www.despeedcamp.com.
